GJC Laywers Represent Man Accused of Taking Upskirt Videos

< 1 min read
Case reported in “The Straits Times” 18/4/2014

A man was charged in court for intruding on women’s privacy by filming up their skirts.

The man had allegedly used his cellphone camera to film up the skirt of one woman on December 9 last year.

The man also faced two other counts of similar offences at the same place, between the end of November and early December last year.

A gag order against publishing the name of the victim in the first charge has been issued by the District Judge.

GJC lawyers asked for the case to be adjourned to make representations to the Attorney-General’s Chambers.

Our criminal lawyers successfully applied for our client to leave the country as he had to travel to Kuala Lumpur on weekends over work-related matters.
